Serial no. 2536. Manufactured in 1939 at Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R, 29" round import-marked barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching, with the buttplate force matched during post-war arsenal refurbishment. The receiver bears a Circle “C” marking and the rifle is currently fitted in a PEM sniper configuration with matching scope mount and clear optics. An interesting M91/30 displaying a combination of pre-war Izhevsk production, Soviet refurbishment, and later sniper configuration. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
