Serial no. 5393. Manufactured circa 1938–1939 by Mauser, chambered in .22 caliber, 26" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching throughout. The finish shows scattered areas of oxidation, while the original factory markings on the receiver remain sharp and clearly visible. The stock shows light handling and usage impressions. The KKW was designed as a small-bore training rifle with handling characteristics similar to Germany’s military service rifles, allowing economical marksmanship training prior to WWII. A desirable matching example of a pre-war German training rifle. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
