Serial number 368585. Made in 1928. 38 Special with a 2” barrel. This is a nice example of a pre-war gun that shows normal carry use. There is approximately 75% of the original blue finish/ The grips show normal handling wear. This is a very early model that was made right at the time period where they started marking what were short barrel police positives as detective specials. This gun comes with a factory letter. It was shipped on October 20, 1928 to Tool Shop Hardware company in Detroit, Michigan.
