PRE-89 VALMET M62/S RIFLE 7.62X39MM (L2026-07095)

SN: 147242. 1981 production, 7.62x39mm with a 16.5" barrel. Bore is bright with excellent rifling. Rare Finnish made AK pattern rifle imported by Interarms pre-1989 import ban. This rifle features a matte finish metal, polymer handguard, fixed wood stock, three-prong flash hider w/bayonet lug adapter, flip-up tritium front sight, and a green strap attached to the sling mount & landyard loop on the base of the magazine. The metal shows typical handling marks with the overall condition being very good. This variant was imported with a limited amount of approximately 1000 to 1500 units shipped into the U.S., making it scarce and desirable for any Military style rifle collection.
