SN: 157073 made in 1950. Bolt action pre-64 Winchester chambered in the scarce 257 Roberts with a 24" round barrel with iron sights, front sight hood and a Griffin & Howe side installed by Griffin & Howe likely where the receiver was blued along with the side mount. Original checkered walnut stock with the original checkered steel butt plate. Some light handling marks on the furniture, metal finish is very good, bore is excellent. Overall a very nice, very rare and desirable pre-64 Winchester.
