Serial no. 46617. Assembled in Finland following WWII, chambered in 7.62x54R, 31½" round import-marked barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are non-matching. Barrel is marked “SA / B / D / 1942,” with the “B” identifying a Belgian-manufactured barrel blank acquired by Finland during WWII and the “D” indicating a chamber suitable for the Finnish D166 cartridge. These Belgian barrels are an interesting and comparatively scarce variation of Finnish Mosin-Nagant production, with many ultimately assembled into complete M91 rifles during the post-war period. Stock remains in very good condition with minimal handling and storage wear noted. A desirable Finnish M91 variation combining an Imperial Russian-pattern rifle with distinctive Finnish military markings and a Belgian-sourced barrel. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
