6“ spear point blade and 10 ¾“ overall length. This is a California, or San Francisco bowie knife probabaly by Michael Price. The handle is walrus ivory carved with a california poppy and almost identical to the one pictured on page 126 of Knifemakers OF OLD SAN FRANCISCO by Bernard Levine. This comes with the original metal sheath.
