Made circa 1850s. Overall length is 20 ¾” with a 2 ¾” blade. This is a tomahawk that has definitely seen some use judging by the cutting edge. The neck of the haft is decorated with 10 original brass tacks. The haft shows multiple notches and file branding that is visible, but fairly smooth from use. This Tomahawk is all original with the original untouched haft. Tomahawks with their original hafts are very rare and desirable. (DALLAS LOCATION)
