Plainfield M1 Carbine Semi-Auto Rifle .30 Carbine (L2026-06050)

Serial no. 8254. Manufactured circa 1962–1978 by Plainfield Machine Company ,chambered in .30 Carbine,18" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The carbine is equipped with surplus U.S.G.I. parts and is configured with typical post-war style features. The low wood stock shows a light varnish applied and remains in overall very good condition. Plainfield carbines were among the better-known commercial producers of M1 Carbine variants, often incorporating military surplus components. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly. The carbine is accompanied by an oiler and sling.
