Serial numbers 22741 & 22742. Made in 1869. 44 RF caliber with a 24” barrel. This is a very unique set of early Winchester 1866 rifles with Henry Marked barrels. Serial number 22471 is the better condition of the two guns with a sharp barrel and a smooth brown patina. Brass is very good. Wood is all original with some of the original finish. The barrel on Serial number 22472 has more of a mottled gray patina with some pitting. Barrel is still reasonably sharp. Brass is very nice and Wood is very good.
