Ottoman Empire Flintlock Pair of Pistols. Barrel length is 11½” and overall length is 18½”. Bores measure approximately .70 caliber. The long ear buttcaps trigger guard, sideplate and wrist cameo are all done in silver and niello as in the style of a Caucasian pistol. Pistols have carved stocks accented with silver wire inlay. The action works perfectly. This is a pair of very eye appealing pistols that comes with the original floral brocade and leather saddle holster. Beautiful set circa 1780-1800.
