SN: 1364477, made in 1930. Custom bolt action sporting rifle built on a military barreled action chambered in 30-06 with a 24” barrel. Ramped hooded front sight and a redfield rear aperture sight with the original trigger and bottom metal. Clearly a professional job based on the very nice hand made custom checkered walnut stock with forend tip, grip cap, sling swivels and a red recoil pad marked N.F. STREBE GUN WORKS which was a gun shop in Washington D.C. in the 1950’s & 60’s. Overall condition is very good with minor wear and handling marks, bore is excellent.
