NSN, circa 1840-1850’s, .40 caliber, 39” octagonal barrel. Barrel is a dark brown patina with oxidation noted at the bolster. Lock plate and hammer have a floral pattern engraving, action does not function correctly. Stock has been refurbished some time ago and is in overall good condition. The name on the lock plate is difficult to make out.
