Merkel 202E "Pre-war" 12 gauge shotgun. Beautiful war time production over/under Merkel dated 1943, with elaborate deep relief game scene engraved sideplate action, double triggers with articulated front trigger, and auto ejectors. The 30" barrels have had Briley Series 1 thin wall chokes installed, Imp Cyl and Skeet. The muzzle area of the barrels has had some light surface rust cleaned off and touched up, otherwise the gun is in fine condition with very light use, with a non-factory carrying case. An outstanding example of superior pre-war craftsmanship.
