Mauser 98 Sporter 7x57 Mauser caliber carbine. Pre-war commercial Oberndorf double square bridge action Carbine Type M. Action measures 8 3/4". Barrel is 20" long. Gun is 40" overall length. Gun has double set triggers and a lever release hinged floor plate. Length of pull is 14" over a silvers pad. The claw mount scope is a Kahles 2.3x7 Helia Super with command post and split horizontals. Optics are excellent. Gun has 98-99% original blue. Wood is excellent as is the checkering. This carbine is a jewel. It is a pleasure just to hold it.
