This carbine remains in its original late-war configuration, not an arsenal rebuild. It features a Type III barrel band correctly marked “SI”, a flat bolt, and a Type II milled adjustable rear sight marked “PI”. The low wood stock bears a visible Ordnance cartouche, and the sling well is marked “IO”, consistent with late Inland production. Stock shows expected handling marks from service but remains structurally sound. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
