Late War Walther K43 Semi-Auto Rifle 8mm (L2026-05220)

Serial no. 6998a. Manufactured circa 1945 by Carl Walther GmbH, chambered in 8mm,22" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The barrel is beginning to turn to a plum patina, a common characteristic seen on late-war German finishes. Serial numbers on the bolt and receiver are matching. Factory markings remain strong with visible Waffenamt acceptance marks. The stock is very good, showing light handling impressions with an cartouche noted on the right side. Late-war K43 rifles often display variations in finish and machining quality due to wartime production pressures, making original examples such as this particularly desirable.
