Serial No. 4264230, manufactured circa 1952–1954, .30-06, 24” round barrel marked “SA F6535448 8-56 A226A” This late-pattern M1 Garand was produced during the Korean War era by Springfield Armory, featuring a postwar barrel dated August 1956. The bolt is marked “6528287-SA/Y01,” while the receiver is marked “A38B/D 6528291 43.” The cut op-rod is stamped “6535382 IHC,” and the trigger group is correctly marked “SA.” The stock is in very good condition, showing only light surface impressions from service use. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle comes equipped with a sling. A solid representative example of a Korean War Springfield Garand.
