John Martz  Manurhin P-38 Carbine (PR70271)

Serial number B1885. Made in 1984. This gun is in 9mm (9x19) and has a 16” barrel. This gun is in like new condition as customized by legendary gunsmith John Martz. John Martz worked in the Navy and then had a job involving airplanes in the civilian world before retiring and focusing completely on restoring and modifying primarily lugers, but also P-38s. He is best know for making his baby lugers and 45 caliber conversions for lugers, but he also converted both lugers and p-38s to a myriad of different calibers. This Manurhin P1 has been converted into a carbine. Both the grips and the forum are made of Circassian Walnut. The rear sight on the barrel is off an artillery luger. This gun comes with a travel case. In the case are 5 additional magazines. In the case is a card with the original description and price tag. On the back of the card it is dated December 2, 1984.
