Johann Springer Double rifle. Bore measures .630 diameter. Rib is marked: Joh. Springer Vorm Nowotny in Wien. Bores are excellent and gun has individual single set triggers that are adjustable. Game scene engraved with stag and doe in woodland setting on lock plate. Has doe attacking a wild boar on right side of frame and scens of stag and doe on left side frame and lock plate. Has doe attacking stag on trigger guard. Condition is very good plus with 95% Damascus pattern on barrels and 80% case colors. Engraved buttplate with bullet trap in butt. Rare and fine Springer large bore double rifle.
