Serial number 80512. Made at Koishikawa/Kokura Arsenal in 1940 with a 19.2-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. The condition is very good but the metallic parts have been refinished & the Katsura hardwood furniture has been painted brown. There is no cleaning rod but the Chrysanthemum remains in tact. Comes with a hooked quillon 16-inch Type 30 bayonet & scabbard made by National Denki under Kokura supervision.
