24 7/8” blade. This is an older blade that has been remounted into Russo Japanese War mounts. It has a Kin zogan Mei which is the gold inlaid signature signed Suke Sada. Based on this and the gilded kiri motif on the saya, we believe this could have been an imperial presentation blade. The blade needs to be repolished. Otherwise the outside of the sword is in very fine condition
