Model of 1883 Imperial Japanese Navy officer's dagger. Very good condition with some cleaned pitting on the blade. Sheathe is in good condition with intact leather and much of the gilding on the brass fittings remaining. Latch functions correctly. The ray skin grips are in fair condition with substantial wear. Left cherry blossom menuki has 90% of gilding while right has around 20%. Wire wrap is mostly tight with some gilding left. Grip cap is good and has 80+% of its gilding.
