SN 26761/26762 built in 1958. Matched pair of 12 gauge over under best guns with 26” solid rib barrels, 2 ¾” chambers and fixed chokes both measuring .008/.021. 7 pin side locks with double triggers, auto ejectors, automatic safety and cocking indicators fully engraved with beautiful game scenes and classic British rose and scroll by legendary master engraver Ken Hunt. Highly figured furniture with matching dimensions, 15” LOP to the Purdey style leather covered recoil pad and a drop of 1 ½ to 2 ½, ¼” cast off and an overall weight of 7lbs 6oz. Some light handling but overall in near excellent condition with mirror bores. Comes with original 2 gun motor case as well as a spare single gun Purdey motor case and a factory letter from the Purdey archives.
