Made circa 1840-1860. 46 caliber with a 39” barrel. This is a nice sharp gun with dark brown to almost black patina throughout the barrel. The wood is very good. With a very fine patch box. The top of barrel is marked “I. McCastline/ Lansingburgh” This is a half stock rifle. Very attractive gun!
