Serial No. 30894, manufactured circa 1933–1940 by Kokura Arsenal, 6.5x50mm, 31¼” round barrel. Bore is good with light frosting visible in the grooves. Serial numbers are non-matching. Stock has been lightly refurbished, and the cleaning rod channel has been filled. The imperial chrysanthemum (mum) has been ground off, as was common for surrendered rifles. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Includes an original Type 30 hooked quillon bayonet, also manufactured by Kokura Arsenal. Bayonet is in very good condition.
