Imman Meffert in Suhl Side by Side 12 gauge shotgun. Beautifully relief chiseled panel game scenes of a running stag, a pair of wild boar and a doe and fawn. The receiver is broad leaf and tendril engraved. The locks, lever, tang and barrels are gold inlaid with a fox on the right barrel and a hare on the left barrel. The Damascus barrel have all the finish. One of the triggers is an adjustable set trigger for slug. Tang has a tip up peep for firing slugs. Buttplate is engraved with the figure of St. Hubert, Patron Saint of hunters. Bores are very good with the right barrel having some minor pits in front of the forcing cone. Gun was expertly restocked. Overall condition is excellent and the gun is a pleasure to behold!
