Serial number 3735798. Made in 1943 with a 18-inch Inland Division of GM barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Although this gun was made during World War II, it went through a post-war arsenal level service life extension rebuild program that resulted in it being equipped with a milled adjustable rear sight assembly, a flip safety & a Type 3 bayonet lug barrel band. It is also equipped with a 2-rivet handguard & a World War II-production low wood oval cut stock that was made by the Trimble Nursery & Furniture Co. for National Postal Meter. A Springfield Armory post-war rebuild cartouche can be observed on the left side just above the trigger. Condition overall is very good with original factory phosphate finish across the metallic parts but some discoloration is noted on the wood. Comes with a USGI 30-round detachable box magazine.
