Serial No. 3727634, circa late 1943, early 1944, .30 carbine, 18” round barrel marked “I.B.M. CORP./9-43/Flaming Bomb” Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. Type I unmarked barrel band with 2 weld scars is noted. Front sight is unmarked, bolt is rounded. Type II milled adjustable rear sight is marked “PI” on the left side. Magazine release is marked “M”, Safety has been upgraded to the Type IV. Low wood pot belly stock is in very good condition with minimal handling wear noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
