Serial No. 5499436, made circa 1954, .30-06, 24” round barrel dated 7-54. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling visible. HRA is visible throughout this rifle with it is noted that the leg of the receiver is marked “SA12-64”. This rifle was in the last rebuilt program for the M1 Garands, with “SA” marked guns less commonly found. Stock is very good with minimal handling wear noted. Handsome DOD cartouche is present with circle “P” noted on the wrist. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
