Serial No. 2264, circa 1863-1864, .52 caliber, 20” round barrel. Metal has turned to a brown patina with scattered surface oxidations noted. Traces of original case coloring can be found on the receiver; serial numbers are matching. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. Stock is very good with light wear visible, handsome cartouche. Action is smooth and functions correctly. (DALLAS LOCATION)
