70 caliber smooth bore with a 46 ½“ barrel. Approximately 75% of the original blue remains on the barrel. The top pf the barrel from the first barrel band backwards is gold inlaid. The lock is beautifully engraved and finished in French gray. The makers name is gold inlaid “MANCEAUX A PARIS“ The furniture is spectacular gold plate cast mounts that has been hand chased. The stock is in excellent condition. Extremely Fine Musket made by Manceaux of Paris!
