Serial No. 683I, manufactured in 1944, .410 bore, 25” smoothbore barrel. Serial numbers are matching throughout. This No.1 Mk III SMLE has been converted to a single-shot .410 police/prison shotgun, with the magazine opening permanently closed using a fitted wooden plate. Stock shows expected handling wear but remains in very good overall condition. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
