Fully Transferable Colt Mfg. Browning Model 1918 BAR British Lend-Lease .30-06 Springfield (L2025-12575)

Serial No. 13944, manufactured in 1918, .30-06 Springfield, 24” round barrel. Receiver is marked “C / Flaming Bomb / 8-18.” British proof marks adjacent to the date indicate this automatic rifle was among the several thousand supplied to British forces under Lend-Lease before WWII; prior to those shipments these BARs were issued to the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) in France during the First World War. Rifle remains in very good overall condition, retaining approximately 95% of its original blue finish, with factory markings remaining sharp and well defined. Stock shows light handling impressions, and the forearm checkering is crisp. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Includes bipod, bipod adaptor, and magazine speed loader.
