Serial No. M22801, manufactured circa December 1945 to August 1946, chambered in 7.5 French with a 23” round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling, reflecting limited post-war use. Serial numbers are matching throughout, and the rifle has been  refurbished—typical for rifles prepared for continued service in the post-WWII era. Metal and stock fit well, and the action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid representative example of an early post-war MAS-36 rifle.
