French MAS 1949/56 Semi-Auto Rifle 7.5 French (L2026-07545)

Serial no. H54977. Manufactured circa 1950s by Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne,chambered in 7.5x54mm French,20.5" round barrel. The bore is good, showing light frosting in the grooves while rifling remains strong and well defined. The finish has aged to an attractive brown-grey patina, and factory markings remain sharp and clearly visible. The stock shows expected handling and usage impressions consistent with military service. The MAS 1949/56 was the standard French service rifle during the Cold War and saw extensive use in conflicts such as the Algerian War and other post-war French military operations..
