SN: 16875 made in Ferlach, Austria, proofed in 1969. A 2 barrel, 2 forearm set, both read on the top rib “ GUSTAV VOLLMER, SCHWABISCH GMUND”. The first barrel is a Bock Drilling 26” 16 gauge with 2 ¾” chambers over 6.5x57R with a solid rib, integral ramped front sight, flip up rear sight and claw mount holding a Carl Zeiss Diavari-D 1.5-6x scope. The 2nd set of barrels are 27 ½” 16 gauge over under barrels with 2 ¾” chambers, vent rib with a brass middle bead and ivory wedge for a front sight. Both barrels have sling swivels and bores are in excellent condition. Scalloped box lock with ejectors and double triggers, traditional Germanic engraving with game scenes and scroll depicting Roe deer on one side and a pair of Hares on the other. 14” LOP to the solid black lined butt plate with engraved screws, white lined pistol grip cap and a solid horn 1 piece trigger guard and tang. Overall in very good condition with minor wear and handling marks. Comes with a black 2 bbl luggage case not original to the gun.
