Frank Hendricks Engraved Colt Single Action Texas Ranger Commemorative (C19527)

Serial number 15TR. Made in 1970. 45 LC caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. This gun is a deluxe version and in mint condition with all of the original silver plating. This gun was engraved by legendary Texas engraver Frank Hendricks. This gun is formerly out of the Robert Berryman collection. Mr. Berryman was a legendary dealer and with Charlie Schreiner (YO ranch) came up with the idea for a Texas Ranger commemorative. Mr. Berryman and Mr. Schreiner designed the guns and contracted with Colt to have thee guns made. Frank Hendricks was contracted to engrave the deluxe pistols. The last one he did himself is this gun which is serial number 15. A letter from John Gangel accompanies this gun explaining the engraved Colt Texas Ranger Commemoratives.
