Serial No. 17954, manufactured in 1924 by Fabrique Nationale (FN) in Belgium for the Mexican government, chambered in 7x57mm Mauser, featuring a 23.5” round barrel. This early post-WWI Mauser variant was part of Mexico’s modernization effort and remains matching throughout. The metal finish has worn to a light grey patina, with sharp factory receiver markings still intact, including the Mexican crest. The walnut stock shows expected handling and usage wear from military service, with no major cracks or repairs. The action is smooth and functions correctly, A solid example of an interwar Latin American contract rifle.
