FN Israeli Mauser rifle 7.62×51mm (L2025-14993)

Serial number 552870. Made in Belgium in 1955 with a 23.62-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Originally chambered for the 7.92×57mm cartridge but then subsequently converted to 7.62×51mm by the Israelis in 1958. Marked with the IDF Haganah crest as well as the caliber conversion information. Overall condition is good with thinning factory blued finish across the metallic parts & wooden furniture that shows the types of dings & dents you would expect out of a military service rifle. Comes with an Israeli leather sling.
