Serial number 321305. Made in 1911. 45 LC caliber with a 4.75” barrel. This is a factory engraved Cingle action that has been refinished. Unfortunately, the engraving was buffed during the refinishing process.  This gun has fantastic deep dish medallion grips. Accompanying this gun is a factory letter confirming all features. It was shipped to Colt distributor Norville Shapleigh Hardware in At. Louis and then Sold to Lewis Shultz Hardware in a shipment of one. We cannot find a record of a Lewis Shultz Hardware, but there was a Lewis Shultz Lumber company in Atchison, Kansas which is probably the same company. Very neat factory engraved Colt Single action that would be perfect for a restoration!
