F.M.A.P. Mauser Model 1909/47 Cavalry Carbine – 7.65x53mm (L2025-11637)

Serial No. 009405, manufactured in 1950, 7.65x53mm, 22½” round barrel. Serial numbers are matching throughout. Barrel’s blue finish is beginning to thin to a grey patina, while the receiver retains its crest and serial number clearly visible. Stock remains good, showing an arsenal repair on the right side of the wrist. This carbine was upgraded in 1947 at the F.M.A.P. (Fábrica Militar de Armas Portátiles) from earlier DWM-produced 1909 rifles. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Approximately 19,000 Model 1909/47 carbines were manufactured, making these postwar conversions both limited and desirable among collectors.
