Serial no. 9242 (Arabic numerals). Manufactured in 1957, chambered in 8mm Mauser, 25.5" round barrel. Bore is good with light frosting noted in the grooves while rifling remains strong and well-defined. Metal has aged to an even brown-grey patina, while the stock displays expected handling and service impressions. The stock disk has been removed. Based on the Swedish Ljungman design, the Egyptian Hakim is a distinctive Cold War-era military semi-automatic rifle and an increasingly desirable surplus arm. Action functions correctly.
