Serial No. 6155, made in 1957, 8mm, 26” round barrel. Bore is bright with light frosting noted in the grooves, rifling remains strong. Right side of the barrel is import marked; metal retains the majority of its finish with minor surface scuffing. Receiver is thinning to a plum-toned patina, and the left side is marked in Farsi with the serial number and production year. Stock has been lightly refurbished with minimal impression marks noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle comes complete with bayonet and scabbard. A well-preserved example of Egypt’s postwar adaptation of the Swedish Ljungman design for use in the Cold War era.
