This is a well-preserved example of the Egyptian-contract FN-49, produced by Fabrique Nationale for the Egyptian military following World War II. Metal finish has thinned to a light grey patina, particularly around the barrel, consistent with age and moderate use. Serial numbers are matching, indicating original configuration.
