Early Interwar Production Brno Mauser Model 98/22 Bolt Action Rifle 8mm Mauser (L2025-09219)

Serial No. E5694, made circa 1922–1923, 8mm, 29” round barrel. Bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling. Serial numbers are non-matching. Metal surfaces have turned to a smooth grey patina, and receiver markings remain sharp and legible. Stock shows expected nicks, dings, and scratches from service use. Manufactured by ČS. St. (Czechoslovak State Armory) using a combination of new components and surplus German Gew 98 parts from World War I. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid and representative example of early Czechoslovak Mauser production for military export and domestic use.
