DWM Gew 98 bolt action rifle updated under the Third Reich 8mm (R43854)

Serial No. 7811, made in 1915 by DWM, 8mm, 29 ½” round barrel. Bore is good with light frosting noted in the grooves, rifling remains handsome. Bolt and serial numbers are matching, Imperial marks remain visible. Left side of the barrel is marked “S/42G”. Stock has been sanded at some point, light dings, and scratches are noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle comes with bayonet that is mostly a grey patina.
