Double-Date Erfurt Karabiner 98 Bolt Action Rifle – 8mm Mauser (L2025-11960)

Serial No. 1011d, manufactured in 1918, 8mm Mauser, 23¾” round barrel. Serial numbers on the bolt and floor plate are matching; the barrel bands and stacking rod are non-matching. Receiver is double-dated “1918 / 1920,” the later marking denoting reissue to German military stocks following the Treaty of Versailles. Rifle has been refinished and remains in very good overall condition. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A tidy, historically interesting example of a post-war reissued Erfurt K98, showing both original wartime manufacture and subsequent interwar service modification.
