Deluxe Winchester 1892 Rifle 38-40 (L2025-12174)

Serial number 880252. Made in 1919. 38-40 caliber with a 24” barrel. This is a very fine deluxe. This gun has been somewhat customized as the forearm is off of a Winchester Model 65 deluxe as it is has a larger profile than  that of a Winchester 1892. This is a takedown deluxe and the blue on the barrel is excellent. The frame has been refinished long ago. The wood is beautiful with feathering to the deluxe walnut grain. The checkering shows normal handling wear. This is a very attractive gun that has been slightly upgraded. No letter is available as it is out of the serial range for available records.
