Serial number 8204. Made circa 1864. 42 caliber with a 6 ½” barrel. This is a nice sharp gun with a smooth dark gray to brown patina. The grips are very good. This is a English made LeMat revolver with the barrel marking “LEMAT & GIRARD PATENT LONDON” The barrel and cylinder have all of the small British proof marks. This gun is all matching. This is a second model configuration and these were shipped the confederacy. Very neat Civil War Confederate LeMat! (DALLAS LOCATION)
